Tsuki: Period & Cycle Tracker

Effective 2026-10-28

Tsuki Privacy Policy

In short

Tsuki keeps what you log on your phone. It has no account, does not connect to the internet, and Altsyslab does not collect your data.

  1. 1. What Tsuki stores on your phone

Tsuki stores what you log in its private storage on your phone: period dates; flow and spotting; symptoms and how strong they were; up to ten symptom names of your own; a "no symptoms" marker; and notes of up to 500 characters per day. It also stores your settings: whether you finished the welcome steps, the theme, whether app lock is on, your reminder choices and times, and the neutral name and icon option. This is health information. It is kept in the app's private storage and is not encrypted beyond what Android itself provides. Tsuki blocks screenshots and screen recording of its own screens.
  2. 2. What Tsuki does not do

Tsuki does not send any data to us or to third parties, and it does not sell or share your data. It does not use advertising IDs, location, contacts or your camera, and it does not create an account or ask for an email address. It has no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting.
  3. 3. Permissions

Biometric: for the optional app lock, which uses your phone's own screen lock or biometrics. Tsuki never sees or stores your fingerprint, face, PIN or password. Notifications: for the two optional reminders, which are off until you turn them on. A reminder says only "Reminder" with "Open the app to see your calendar." or "Open the app to log today." It shows no dates and no health details. Run at startup: to set your reminders again after your phone restarts.
  4. 4. Exports and backups

Exports are your choice. You can save your data as a backup file (optionally encrypted with a passphrase you choose), a spreadsheet (CSV) or a PDF summary, and you choose where it goes. Once saved, the file is outside Tsuki: anyone with access to where you save it may be able to read it, unless you used a passphrase. Tsuki cannot delete or change it. The encrypted export is locked with a key made from your passphrase. The passphrase is never stored. If you forget it, the file cannot be opened. What you log and your settings are left out of your phone's cloud backup. On Android 12 and later, a direct device-to-device transfer to a new phone can include them. On Android 8 to 11, they are left out of both.
  5. 5. Deleting your data

Settings, then Delete all data, permanently removes everything you have logged and all settings. Uninstalling Tsuki also removes them from your phone. Files you exported earlier are not affected. Delete them yourself where you saved them. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
  6. 6. Children

Tsuki is not directed at children under 13.
  7. 7. Not medical advice

Tsuki estimates only the start of your next period, based on the periods you have logged. It does not estimate fertile days or ovulation, and its estimates are not medical advice.
  8. 8. Changes to this policy

Any change will be published at this address, with a new effective date, before it takes effect. If the app ever starts collecting data, this policy will say so before that happens.
